In the role of Indirect Tax Summer Intern you will provide support to the Indirect Tax and Customs will include collection of information and analysis of various reports in Oracle cloud and other source systems as well as exposure to Canadian indirect tax and an excellent job for students that are studying Finance or Accounting.

Placement Details:

This is a 4 month co-op placement starting in May 2026 located in Calgary.

What you will do:

Timely and accurate preparation of Canadian indirect tax returns including Goods and Services Tax (GST)/Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) Quebec Sales Tax (QST) Provincial Sales Tax (PST) Carbon Motor Fuel Tax as well as Customs filings.
Assist with process improvements and internal recovery reviews.
Collect and organize legal and financial information to respond to audit queries in a timely manner.
Support ad-hoc requests.

Who you are:

You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Accounting or Financeand will be returning to full time school immediately following the work programs of study including Data Analytics may be considered.
Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Outlook) advanced excel is a requirement.
Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion).
Experience with Alteryx Analytics software is an asset but not required.
