MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Spearhead initiatives that optimize Gross-To-Net performance and SG&A efficiency with enhanced internal controls.
- Deliver independent high-impact assessments to Senior Management on the effectiveness of governance risk management and internal control frameworks ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory standards.
- Priority will be on processes ensuring a. gross to net and promotion spend hygiene and return on investment b. channel inventory monitoring and compliance and c. route to market optimization
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and implementation of robust governance and control frameworks across Pacific Asia in alignment with regional and divisional priorities. Drive initiatives that enhance financial discipline and operational integrity with a focus on ensuring trade claim accuracy prudent accrual practices aligned with actual liabilities rigorous channel inventory compliance and pre-activity fund commitment approvals. These efforts will support sustainable business performance risk mitigation and strategic resource allocation.
- Lead ongoing evaluations of key business processes across Pacific Asia to proactively identify operational and control gaps. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance process efficiency governance and risk mitigation. Ensure timely issuance of comprehensive reports to senior stakeholders delivering actionable insights and driving continuous improvement in internal control systems aligned with organizational priorities.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance to PA affiliates in the implementation of Internal Audit recommendations ensuring timely and effective remediation of identified risks. Lead audit readiness efforts by aligning local processes with corporate standards and proactively preparing for upcoming audits. Act as the primary liaison with regional and divisional teams for audit-related initiatives and cross-functional projects fostering collaboration and ensuring consistent governance across the region.
- Identify capability gaps and procedural inefficiencies across Pacific Asia operations and recommend targeted training programs and process enhancements to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
- Establish clear alignment and partnership with the Corporate Finance Services (CFS) organization to define and delineate roles and responsibilities between CFS and the Division Finance team. Ensure governance clarity operational efficiency and accountability across financial processes enabling seamless collaboration and strategic execution across the organization.
- Monitor and assess emerging trends risks and market dynamics that may impact Abbott Nutrition International (ANI) Pacific Asia. Ensure timely and strategic communication of relevant insights to the senior management team enabling proactive decision-making and alignment with regional and global business priorities.
- Critically evaluate Gross-to-Net and SG&A investments across Pacific Asia markets to ensure optimal resource allocation and maximize margin contribution. Provide strategic challenge and guidance to country teams driving data-informed decisions that enhance financial performance and support long-term business sustainability.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and finance leaders across the area and affiliates to identify and unlock incremental margin opportunities. Provide strategic guidance and support in the design and execution of initiatives that enhance profitability ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and sustainable value creation.
