This is a General Managerlevel opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy numbers brands and people.

As Head of Consumer Electronics you will own the end-to-end commercial performance brand health and operational excellence of our Consumer Electronics portfolio. You will lead a diverse constellation of global brands across African markets balancing big-picture growth with a sharp eye on margins currency volatility and executional detail. In short: you set the direction empower the team and deliver results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial & Financial Leadership

• Full ownership of the divisional P&L.
• Define pricing and margin strategies across multiple brands.
• Balance aggressive growth with sustainable gross profit.
• Deliver against turnover GP and stock-holding targets.

Brand & Portfolio Management

• Lead a multi-brand Consumer Electronics portfolio from premium global brands to high-volume consumer products.

• Adapt strategies to different market realities across Africa.

• Navigate supplier expectations retailer demands and internal priorities with confidence.

People & Leadership Excellence

• Lead mentor and develop a diverse team of coordinators and managers.

• Shift the team from dependency to ownership and accountability.

• Proactively de-escalate internal and external issues before they impact performance.

• Foster strong respectful cross-cultural relationships.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelors degree in Business Commerce Finance Marketing Supply Chain or a related field is advantageous.

• 10 years progressive commercial experience ideally within Consumer Electronics FMCG or branded distribution environments.

• 5 years experience in a senior leadership role with direct accountability for teams and commercial outcomes.

• Proven end-to-end P&L ownership at divisional or business-unit level.

• Demonstrated experience managing multi-brand portfolios across complex fast-moving markets.

• Strong financial acumen including pricing margin and stock management.

• High levels of agility sound judgement and resilience in volatile market conditions.

• Strong people leadership stakeholder engagement and conflict management capability.
