Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and skilled MIG Welders to join our manufacturing team in Chicago Heights IL. This role involves MIG welding steel and tube materials in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must be able to pass a welding test prior to starting and be available to work mandatory overtime. Multiple shift options are available with competitive pay.
Pay & Shift Details
Pay & Shift Details
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM $17.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM $17.50/hour
- Mandatory Overtime: 2 additional hours daily
- Perform MIG welding on steel and tube materials
- Weld metal parts and assemblies according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints work instructions and weld symbols
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Grind finish and clean welded components as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Meet daily production and quality standards
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Previous MIG welding experience preferred
- Must pass a welding test prior to employment
- Ability to work mandatory overtime (2 hours daily)
- Ability to stand bend lift and work for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Steel-toe boots and required PPE
