Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a permanent part-time live-out Housekeeper position supporting a very busy gentleman based in Watford Hertfordshire. The principal lives alone in a well-maintained two-bedroom apartment with a balcony living room and kitchen and is preparing for his girlfriend to move in. The gentleman frequently welcomes guests some of whom may arrive with children or a dog and therefore values a reliable and flexible housekeeper who can maintain the apartment in a very particular way. Watford is a vibrant and well-connected town offering excellent local amenities green spaces and outstanding transport links into Central London making it a highly desirable area to work in.

Working as a professional Housekeeper in a private residence requires a high level of organisation discretion and attention to detail. This role would suit a pro-active and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently and following specific household expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the apartment to a consistently high standard managing cleaning routines and ensuring the home remains welcoming and presentable particularly after guests. Flexibility and reliability are essential as the households needs may vary from week to week. The Housekeeper should be self-employed.

This is a live-out position and is easily accessible by public transport with the apartment located close to a metro station and benefiting from excellent local transport links. Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:

• General cleaning of the apartment including the living areas kitchen bathroom bedroom and balcony in line with the principals specific expectations.
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
  
• Cleaning and preparing the apartment after guests ensuring the home is reset to an impeccable standard.
  
• Washing ironing and organising clothing and household linens.
  
• Managing cleaning routines efficiently and working independently without supervision.
  
• Optional light meal preparation if required and agreed in advance.
  
• Being flexible and proactive in responding to the households changing needs.
  

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:

• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
  
• Two excellent checkable references.
  
• Conversational English.
  
• UK working permit.
