Known for delivering high-quality custom-built solutions they support a wide range of industries from a two-acre facility equipped with advanced in-house machinery state-of-the-art tooling and cutting-edge engineering technology. Their capabilities span concept design CNC machining fabrication welding painting assembly and testing.

They are seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson to support the engineering team by producing accurate complete drawing packages for fabrication and this role you will play a critical part in ensuring project accuracy and efficiency from engineering through production. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented technically skilled individual who enjoys collaborating with engineers and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create revise and maintain detailed manufacturing drawings for machining and fabrication projects;
Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are accurate practical and shop-ready;
Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) production documentation and revision records;
Assist engineering and production teams with day-to-day updates drawing changes and documentation support;
Ensure drawing and document control standards are maintained.

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma or related field;
Experience preparing technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing;
Proficiency in SolidWorks and technical drafting for manufacturing environments;
Familiarity with Excel BOM management and data/document management systems;
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering specifications;
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams;
Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based engineering environment.
