Estimator Countertops & Cabinetry
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator specializing in Countertops and Cabinetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates material take-offs and pricing proposals using industry-standard software and tools. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with project managers designers and production.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates and material take-offs for countertop and cabinetry projects
Analyze drawings specifications and scope of work using Bluebeam
Generate and manage quotes using CG Quotes (Moraware)
Utilize Microsoft Excel for pricing cost analysis and reporting
Review project requirements and identify potential risks discrepancies or cost-saving opportunities
Coordinate with sales project management and production teams to ensure accurate pricing
Maintain updated pricing for materials labor and vendors
Ensure estimates are accurate competitive and aligned with company standards
Assist in bid preparation and proposal submissions as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Estimator in Countertops and Cabinetry
Proficiency in Bluebeam for take-offs and plan reviews
Hands-on experience with CG Quotes (Moraware)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with construction drawings measurements and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good English Communication.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with US-based clients or projects
Knowledge of stone quartz solid surface and cabinet materials
Experience with additional estimating or take-off tools is a plus
Required Skills:
Duties/ Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the monitoring portals Utilize computerized systems to track and analyze solar systems Provide communications such as emailing or calling contractors for onsite visits as well as being able to RMA any equipment Utilize Google Suite and other software to assist with office tasks Act as solar systems monitor for all company clients and be able to walk them through their portal when they receive PTO Provide and analyze generated reports to recognize monitoring system errors and be able to troubleshoot remotely if possible
