Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain predictive models and machinelearning solutions supporting business use cases.
- Build evaluate and optimize forecasting models including time series models and machinelearningbased predictors.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Work within the Databricks environment to build scalable data pipelines and automated workflows as data engineer leveraging Python language
- Ensure proper governance reliability and documentation of analytical models and code.
- Deploy models and applications within Azure-based infrastructure.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically7-10 years of relevant work experience in industry.
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
- knowledge of basic statistical concepts such as correlation confidence interval etc.
- familiarity with data science libraries in Python SciPy scikit-learn
- understanding of linear regression (Ordinary Least Squares ElasticNet Ridge Regression) and forecasting methods using machine learning
- knowledge of SQL
- knowledge of time series forecasting methods.
Other Qualifications/Skillsets:
- familiarity with the Databricks environment (workflows jobs)
- familiarity with the Azure environment (Azure Key Vault Function Apps Storage Accounts)
- knowledge of PySpark
- ability to write object-oriented code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
