Junior Data Analyst (Global Meeting Services – Americas)

POSITION OVERVIEW

ISS STOXX is hiring! We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Global Meeting Services (GMS) team. Global Meeting Services (GMS) provides data support and services across markets worldwide including but not limited to the United States Canada China Vietnam Taiwan the United Kingdom South Africa Australia New Zealand and the AsiaPacific region.

The team continuously monitors and gathers relevant information on upcoming corporate action eventsspecifically shareholders meetingswhere matters such as acquisitions mergers and the election of directors and auditors may be discussed. Meeting results are also collected. All gathered information is accurately entered into the database which is then used to generate reports for clients. This data further supports other teams in conducting additional research for the ultimate issuance of ISS Vote Recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor corporate action events such as shareholders meetings using various sources including stock exchanges regulatory agencies company websites EDGAR SEDAR and similar platforms.

• Procure relevant shareholder meeting documents such as the Annual Report Notice of Meeting Information Circular Proxy Forms and other Corporate Governance materials.

• Engage companies or issuers via email or phone when additional details are required.

• Collect meeting details including date meeting type record date location time and voting instructions.

• Ascertain the correct securities (ISIN SEDOL CUSIP and CINS) that have voting rights for the meeting.

• Extract and encode the meeting agenda into the database to inform clients of the resolutions to be voted on.

• Input accurate voting instructions including valid vote options market deadlines and registrar details.

• Collect and encode meeting results into the database.

• Assist with other relevant projects as assigned from time to time.

• Investigate market-related issues raised by various internal teams.

• Address and resolve issues identified in daily reports.

• Ensure effective communication between GMS and other ISS teams to maintain smooth workflow.

• Respond promptly to queries from clients issuers and internal stakeholders.

• Participate in various working committees and/or project initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Training & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or any related field.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

• Strong problemsolving skills.

• High attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Understanding corporate governance corporate transactions and capital markets is an advantage.

• Familiarity with AI tools and similar technologies is a plus.

Work Location & Schedule:

• Will work on a dayshift schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PHT

• Amenable to working extended hours (including overtime holidays and weekends) during the Proxy Season.

• Willing to work onsite five (5) days a week for the first two months then transition to a hybrid work setup thereafter (3 days onsite & 2 days work from home).
