Location: Randolph NJ / East Hanover NJ
Compensation: $160000 $250000 annually (performance-based)

About the Opportunity
We are a high-volume growth-oriented Multi Ford dealership group seeking an experienced General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead and elevate our sales operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving new and used vehicle performance developing a strong sales team and delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of new and used vehicle sales operations
Drive sales volume gross profit and market share while maintaining compliance
Recruit train coach and develop Sales Managers and Sales Consultants
Establish and monitor sales goals KPIs and performance metrics
Collaborate with Finance Service and Fixed Ops to optimize dealership performance
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and CSI performance
Oversee inventory management pricing strategies and desking processes DMS R&R
Maintain strong relationships with Ford representatives and adhere to OEM standards
Qualifications
Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or Sales Director in an automotive dealership
Ford dealership experience strongly preferred
Track record of achieving high sales volume and profitability
Strong leadership coaching and team-building skills
Deep understanding of desking inventory management and automotive retail analytics
Excellent communication organizational and decision-making abilities
Ability to lead in a fast-paced performance-driven environment
