Job Summary
SUMMARY:
To support K-12 students with mild to moderate mental health issues and provide appropriate referrals for students in need of more intensive services through the Community Mental Health system.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Licensed Masters level Psychologist or
A limited licensed Masters level Psychologist under the supervision of a licensed Masters level Psychologist or
A MDE credentialed Masters level School Psychologist or
A licensed Masters level Professional Counselor or
A limited licensed Masters level Professional Counselor under the supervision of a licensed Masters level Professional Counselor or
A licensed Masters level School Social Worker or
A limited licensed Masters level Social Worker under the supervision of a licensed Masters level Social Worker or
Approval or eligible by the Michigan Department of Education as School Social Worker
Preferred:
Eligibility of the Michigan Department of Education School Social Work Certification
Experience working in a school environment
Experience working with youth
Experience working with families
