This role focuses on high-volume passive candidate sourcing and engagement. Successful sourcers excel at proactive candidate identification building relationships with professionals who arent actively seeking new opportunities. You must be able to manage prioritize and fulfill multiple job searches against timelines while setting benchmarks tracking metrics and achieving SLAs.
The best candidates will draw on knowledge of talent acquisition and tech roles forging dynamic relationships with business leaders hiring managers and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at passive candidate generation and engagement client/account management and strong organizational skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to engage passive candidates
Ability to prioritize time across multiple sourcing campaigns

A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of strategic communication and relationship building. Youll leverage multiple communication platforms to identify and engage potential candidates creating meaningful connections that go beyond traditional recruiting approaches. Youll craft compelling narratives that showcase our organizations unique value proposition turning passive interest into active engagement.
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship between May through September
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program majoring in Business Communications Marketing or similar with a graduation conferral date between December 2026 and June 2027
- Experience working in a sales role
- Work internship or other leadership experience in a professional environment
- Strong academic leadership and/ or extracurricular record

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $24.47/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $52.40/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
