Inpatient Rehabilitation at Kent Hospital located at 455 Toll Gate Road Warwick RI 02886 offers customized patient and family-focused rehabilitation treatment and education that emphasize each patients unique strengths abilities and preferences. Rehabilitative care begins with appropriate therapies that lead the patient to the greatest degree of function possible with individualized therapy goals to prepare patients once again to enter the world of independent living. Kent Hospital works with partners to provide an uninterrupted treatment path from inpatient rehabilitation to home care and outpatient rehabilitation. Every day our dedicated team of rehabilitation and clinical experts help patients of all ages with all types of injuries and conditions feel stronger more independent and more confident than they ever thought possible.

How youll contribute

The PAI Coordinator provides oversight and coordination of the timely and accurate completion of the Patient Assessment Instrument for each rehabilitation inpatient. This individual edits the information contained in the PAI for each patient to assure accuracy in the scoring of functional status and reflection of the patients care addition this position may assist in the ongoing monitoring of identified benchmarks for the inpatient population. The Patient Assessment Instrument Coordinator has access to confidential patient information and maintains confidentiality of all information.

Coordination of the PAI completion with the interdisciplinary team gathering and input of data transmission of data to Medicare. Assisting with education of staff regarding PPS and FIMS/Quality Indicators (QIs). Monitoring and management of CMS compliance. Routine internal contacts include all clinical members of the interdisciplinary team. External contacts are employees of the client facility.

What were looking for

Applicants should have

  • Associates degree or higher in a clinical program with active clinical licensure.
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Physical Therapist (PT) SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
