We are seeking a Regional Director to lead our expansion into Boston. This leadership position is perfect for someone who enjoys entrepreneurship is energized by building new initiatives and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in launching our STEM programs in the region and establishing NORYs presence.
Key Responsibilities
Launch and Expansion: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for NORYs expansion into Boston.
Partnership Development: Forge partnerships with local schools educational organizations and community stakeholders to create strong community-based camp locations.
Family Engagement and Outreach: Spearhead marketing and outreach initiatives to increase brand visibility and attract local families to the program.
Recruitment & Leadership: Recruit train and manage a local team to ensure the delivery of high-quality STEM experiences.
Operational Management: Oversee daily camp operations including budget management P&L oversight and regulatory compliance (permits licensing etc.).
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the NYC headquarters to share resources ensure alignment and implement best practices.
Required Qualifications
Growth & Expansion Experience: Proven track record of business expansion or educational program growth ideally with successful partnership formation.
Leadership & Communication Skills: Demonstrated success in managing teams fostering collaboration and achieving operational goals.
Experience in Educational Program Management: Background in educational program management (or a related field) is preferred but we also welcome candidates with unique experiences and proven track records.
Regional Expertise: Familiarity with the Boston educational landscape and the local community.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to develop and execute strategies in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Travel and Training
This role requires local travel within the Greater Boston area to engage with local communities establish partnerships and oversee camp locations. Periodic travel to NORYs NYC headquarters may be required for training strategy sessions and collaboration with the leadership team.
Training for this role will include a comprehensive onboarding program that will provide candidates with tools best practices and resources to successfully launch and manage NORY camps in a new region. This training will take place both virtually and in-person in NYC.
Travel and Training Support: Full travel reimbursement for required visits to NYC for training and strategy sessions.
