CGI is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer with proven expertise in end-to-end system design to lead the user experience strategy and execution for complex enterprise-scale digital platforms. This role requires a strong ability to translate business objectives technical constraints and user needs into cohesive scalable and intuitive system designs across multiple applications and user types.
The ideal candidate has experience designing entire systems from concept through delivery including information architecture interaction models workflows and design governance and can effectively collaborate with product engineering and business stakeholders.
End-to-End System Design
Lead UX design for full systems not just individual screens or features.
Define system-level UX architecture including navigation models interaction patterns and cross-application workflows.
Ensure consistency and usability across modules platforms and user roles.
Design for scalability extensibility and long-term maintainability.
User Research & Experience Strategy
Plan and conduct user research (interviews contextual inquiry usability testing).
Synthesize insights into personas journey maps and experience principles.
Translate research findings into actionable design decisions.
Balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
Interaction Design & Information Architecture
Create information architecture user flows and task models for complex systems.
Design low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Define interaction behaviors states and error handling patterns.
Design for accessibility usability and inclusive experiences (WCAG).
Design Systems & Standards
Contribute to or lead the creation and evolution of design systems.
Define reusable components patterns and UX guidelines.
Partner with engineering to ensure design system adoption and consistency.
Establish UX governance to support multiple teams and products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product managers to shape requirements and roadmaps.
Partner with engineers to ensure feasible and high-quality implementations.
Collaborate with researchers content strategists and visual designers.
Act as a UX advocate throughout the product lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication
Present design concepts rationales and tradeoffs to stakeholders and leadership.
Incorporate feedback while maintaining UX integrity and system coherence.
Communicate complex design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7 years of professional UX design experience
Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end systems (enterprise platforms SaaS products or complex workflows)
Strong portfolio showcasing system-level thinking not just UI execution
Expertise in information architecture interaction design and user flows
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Sketch Axure Adobe XD)
Solid understanding of accessibility standards and usability best practices
Experience working in Agile or product-led development environments

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69700.00 - $154300.00.
