Job Description Summary
The Lead PMO Specialist EOT (Extension of time) & Time Claims will serve as a strategic member of the planning team responsible for forensic analysis of project schedules across the India New Build portfolio. The role requires close coordination with project managers and contract managers to determine the extent sequence concurrency and chronology of delays. The role requires an extensive use of scheduling tools and spreadsheets to conduct As-planned vs As-built analysis.
A clear expectation will be to establish clear attribution of delays to force-majeure events or to the contractual parties as applicable. The candidate will engage in the preparation and support the negotiations with customers or contractors to secure GEVs contractual entitlements and to mitigate Liquidated Damages this role the incumbent will report to PMO - Project Planning & Control Leader.

Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with required stakeholders to ensure systematic documentation and maintenance of records for the purpose of securing L2 schedule revision and contract amendment as per entitlement.
Perform critical path analysis and activity-wise delay and float calculation for the complete value chain of engineering manufacturing logistics installation and commissioning.
Help/support the project team in understanding and building robust data-driven opportunities / counterclaims as a defense of companys contractual position.
Partner with project and contract managers in customer negotiations to secure time entitlements and to mitigate Liquidated Damages (LD) risks.
Create and deliver reports as per contractual communication plan (Monthly/Weekly Progress Reports engage with customer on complex scheduling matters.
Provide planning and schedule analysis support during claim and LD discussions with contractors suppliers and customers.
Mentor and guide the site planning team members in maintaining the right set of documents on a daily basis for the purpose of forensic analysis of schedule data.

Required Qualifications
Engineering degree from a recognized college / university with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
Strong proficiency in the use of Primavera P6 MS Project MS office tools scheduling and other enabling IT applications for project planning work
In-depth understanding of construction and commissioning sequence in medium to large scale EPC projects
Knowledge of general scheduling principles and methodologies.
Good knowledge of power plant fundamentals
Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required
Proficiency in English language
Desired Characteristics
Experience in planning and execution of infrastructure projects
Strong interpersonal and responsive skills
Strong understanding and experience in working with Lean fundamentals and tools.
