Senior Specialist Payroll & Payroll Tax
Responsibilities:

Performs assigned payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely payment of domestic associates

Ensure that payroll activity is properly recorded in the General ledger and assists in research and analysis on reconciling items
-
Work with third party providers to ensure payroll tax compliance for both the company and associates
-
Utilize resources to identify issues solve problems and implement solutions with little to no supervision
-
Solve and escalate issues to management in a simple and actionable format.
-
Performs complex data mining analytics and query creation
-
Perform root cause analysis and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
-
Work cross-functionally to resolve issues including across other areas of the company
-
Identifies and solves issues with limited/ambiguous parameters
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

Productive in use of companys resources strong work ethic.

Takes initiative in recommending and implementing consistent improvements to controls and efficiency.

Strong understanding of accounting procedures and systems (Oracle Cadency ReconNET etc.) pertaining to area of responsibility.

Cross-functional enterprise understanding and the ability to lead cross-functional projects.

Analytical and decision-making skills.

Advanced user of Microsoft Office Tools.
Experience/Education:
-
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

Certificate on US Payroll Would be added advantage
-
Certificate on Lean and Six Sigma Would be added advantage
-
4- 6 years experience in roles with increasing responsibility AND analytical decision making
