Position Title: Corrosion Analyst / EIT
Location: Markham Ontario

General Function:
This engineering role will usually contain both an office and field aspect with varying distribution depending on seasonal needs due to project awards and operations in general.
- For field operations the candidate will participate in the field tasks for inspection installation construction overline surveys service repair and troubleshooting of corrosion protection other cases the candidate may primarily be hired predominantly to support non-Canadian projects in the US or other countries where extended travel may be mandatory.
- The candidate may also be responsible for assembling / reviewing technical survey reports managing and analyzing incoming field data while providing technical office support preparing / supporting project proposals conducting / supporting / leading various field surveys investigations and whole addition other responsibilities include meeting project deliverable deadlines in the form of detailed reports project drawings preparing project H&S and Quality documents etc. while meeting time / cost / quality / scope constraints.
- Utilize basic engineering principles and corrosion theory to provide analysis of data in the creation of technical reports general design installation details system assessment and recommendations commissioning and maintenance documentation of cathodic protection / AC mitigation systems in the form of reports drawings etc.
- Prepare H&S and quality documentation testing procedures etc. related to projects.
- Tracking of incoming field data of projects.
- Coordinate and complete project tasks according to scope and schedule.
- Work closely with the project managers to meet or exceed our customers expectations.
- All tasks are to be completed in an efficient and timely manner.
- This role is a key and critical component to the overall team at CSCL. The candidate serves as the CSCL representative interfacing with clients and further building on a reputation for good service.
- Generate detailed technical reports detailed drawings and other required materials based upon client technical specifications NACE standards and company established guidelines.
- Assist other team members on projects and on tasks as necessary.
- Provide customer support and foster customer relationships.
Qualification:
- University graduates from an accredited engineering program (Electrical preferred). Registered EIT / eligible to obtain . license / has .
- Preference given to individuals with previous relevant experience NACE CP2 or higher certification.
- Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills are required.
- Candidates should be hands-on highly adaptable and flexible have strong technical field experience and writing skills.
- Should be physically fit willing to work outdoors and able to lift 20kg.
- Overtime and travel may be required to meet project and customer expectations.
