About the Role
We are looking for an experienced people-focused Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for our clients whānau community and visitors.
This role is about more than reception duties. Youll play a key part in creating a warm culturally safe and professional environment ensuring everyone who walks through our doors or contacts us feels acknowledged respected and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome clients whānau and visitors in a respectful and culturally appropriate way
Be the first point of contact via phone email and in person
Manage incoming calls and shared inboxes ensuring enquiries are handled or directed appropriately
Support day-to-day reception and administrative tasks
Maintain a calm professional presence even in busy or emotionally charged situations
What Youll Bring
Were looking for someone who:
Has experience in a reception front of house or customer-facing role
Is a confident and clear communicator with strong people skills
Demonstrates whanaungatanga through warm respectful and inclusive engagement
Is culturally aware and able to work respectfully with diverse communities
Can balance approachability with professionalism and confidentiality
Is organised reliable and comfortable managing multiple tasks
