The Red Gate Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise data management analysis and integration initiatives for a federal intelligence community customer. This position plays a critical role in establishing end-to-end data management practices and ensuring data interoperability across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Develop share and analyze a comprehensive array of data to support mission objectives and inform decision-making
- Establish and implement end-to-end data management practices and adopt foundational IC standards
- Foster interoperability across the IC data ecosystem
- Oversee incorporation of mission datasets into enterprise data catalogs ensuring accuracy consistency and usability
- Capture relevant metadata for improved data discovery and lineage tracking
- Prepare alternatives analyses business cases and impact assessments for Government review incorporating technical and integration perspectives
- Perform cost schedule and performance trade-off analyses and provide recommendations for Government consideration
- Assess current Government customer relationship and experience programs via customer surveys policy review interviews focus groups and product reviews
- Consolidate stakeholder feedback and maintain program records for Government use
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports briefings and data calls that provide program status risk updates and performance metrics to Government leadership
- Support the development and maintenance of program schedules dashboards and performance metrics
- Conduct business process analysis to identify opportunities for improved efficiency in enterprise service delivery
- Engage with stakeholders to gather user requirements facilitate workshops and foster collaboration ensuring that feedback is integrated into project workflows and deliverables
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Masters Degree in Data Science Analytics Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- 8 years of experience in data analysis or related field
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
- Experience with enterprise data management and data governance practices
- Knowledge of metadata standards and data cataloging
- Experience developing business cases impact assessments and trade-off analyses
- Strong skills in data visualization and reporting
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings and reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal government or intelligence community customers
- Familiarity with Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) data systems and standards
- Experience with sensor data integration and analysis
- Knowledge of IC data standards and interoperability requirements
- Experience with data brokering discovery access and retrieval systems
- Proficiency in SQL Python or other data analysis programming languages
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau Power BI etc.)
- Understanding of DoD and IC data governance policies
