Job Summary

Position: Sr. Data Analyst
Location: Baltimore MD #HYBRID
Duration: 9 months #Contract
Rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

The main purpose of a data analyst is to find meaning in data as a thought leader so that the derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions.
Bachelors Degree (Data Science Mathematics Computer Science Statistics Business or related field)
8 years experience in an progressively responsible analytical/quantitative role.
Required experience in Healthcare and Facets
Experience in healthcare industry (including Appeals and Grievances)
Hands-on experience with Big Data/NoSQL Platforms with experience delivering production projects at scale.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders and leadership roles.
Quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills. Expert
Knowledge and understanding of analytical tools languages applications platforms. Expert
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Expert
Ability to learn quickly and take direction. Expert

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
25% Engages in data exploration using various programming languages (reading and writing code) requiring advanced knowledge of multiple database structures
15% Collect analyze and interpret data to glean insights and develop business appropriate recommendations
15% Serve as an expert resource supporting data questions and issues from stakeholders and driving to resolution
15% Research and analyze data flow across complex data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms
10%Manage the collection of business and technical requirements from stakeholders to deliver data driven solution. Produces and reviews technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards.
10%Lead in the design development validation and delivery of data to provide insight into business decisions
10% Act as a mentor to all team members
