Job Summary
- Develop detailed designs for drainage systems water pipelines and sewerage networks.
- Conduct feasibility studies site investigations and technical assessments.
- Prepare engineering calculations technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with local regulations codes and standards.
- Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Supervise and manage construction activities to ensure quality safety and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to contractors and project teams.
- Incorporate sustainable practices and innovative solutions into project designs.
- Evaluate and recommend materials and technologies to improve efficiency and durability.
- Liaise with clients consultants contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide regular progress updates and address any technical challenges.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree is an advantage.
- Must be a Professional Engineer (PE) registered with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in drainage water pipeline and sewerage works.
- Proven track record of managing infrastructure projects from design to completion
