About the Role

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture Business Partnering you will be instrumental in partnering with the business to assess understand and respond to business demand for strategic and operational P&C support in line with LWBs strategic goals and culture.

You will play a pivotal partnering role to support a culture that encourages accountability and collaboration. You will be hands on in your approach with a deep technical knowledge of best practice HR business partnering in an evolving and often tactical environment.

We have two 12-month parental leave opportunities available. One role partners with NSW Child Youth & Family Services and the other partners with Corporate Emerging Businesses and Aged Care Services.

These roles can be located anywhere on the East Coast with both roles offering flexible working arrangements in a hybrid model. From time to time you will be required to attend an office location and occasional travel will form part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop practical and sustainable solutions to business challenges aligned with the workforce strategy
  • Lead and support organisational redesign initiatives across structure process and culture applying effective change management approaches
  • Provide trusted professional advice and coaching to leaders across the full spectrum of P&C matters including employee relations and complex case management
  • Deliver high-quality timely and customer-focused P&C services ensuring effective and efficient outcomes for the business

Skills & Experience

  • Degree level qualification in human resources or a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in a generalist human resources position.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating a complex organisation forging relationships and managing through influence.
  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers employees partners unions and external organisations.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills for the creation of reports correspondence and other material.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability.
  • Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
