Job Summary
CEDA is seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Labourer to join our team. Based at our office in Fort McMurray this position is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and functional facility interior while also caring for the surrounding grounds including lawn care and snow removal. The ideal candidate is self-motivated detail-oriented and capable of working independently in various weather conditions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of common areas.
- Sweep mop and vacuum floors as needed.
- Clean windows mirrors and other glass surfaces.
- Complete minor maintenance tasks as required including changing light bulbs or making minor repairs to walls and surfaces.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance when required
- Operate a variety of tools and light machinery to complete tasks such as roads grounds maintenance lawn care and snow removal.
- Shovel snow from sidewalks entryways and emergency exit during winter months.
Role Specifications
- 1 to 3 years of janitorial or grounds maintenance experience is preferred
- Ability to operate basic landscaping and snow removal equipment safely.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook and Word) is preferred
- Ability to multitask and establish priorities and work independently
- Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
- Ability to produce a negative result for drug & alcohol test
- Valid class 5 drivers license is required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
