The Town of Bonnyville is looking for an athletic minded individual to assist in the maintenance of various sports fields within the Town of Bonnyville. Are you looking to gain some summer work experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for preparing the various sports fields for the various sports team requirements.
This sports field maintenance includes the marking/chalking of lines placement and preparation of nets plates raking of sand.
Ability to work alone or under minimalsupervision.
The candidate will also assist in maintenance of all green spaces flower beds main street hanging baskets.
Assist in Town Programs such as community spring clean-up Canada Day Tourism events and grass collection.
Working as a team member with summer parks crew and performing other related public works and parks duties.
Lawn equipment operations tree pruning tree planting playground and parks equipment maintenance plant and flower maintenance parks beautification and other related duties.
Adhere to all safety procedures and actively participate in tailgate meetings and the reporting process.
Performs other related duties asrequired.

Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 Drivers License with acceptable abstract.
Must possess an interest in sports and understand the different field requirements for specific sports.
Physically fit as the job requires excessive walking and ability to lift up to 50 poundswalking on uneven surfaces stooping kneeling crouching climbing stairs and ladders.
