Data Science Intern

As a Data Science Intern in Warsaw you will support the client-facing Data Science Lab team in the European region for 11 weeks during summer. You will assist in developing and delivering analytics-driven strategies and solutions for Visas external clients. This internship offers hands-on experience in applying data science techniques to real-world business challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the design and implementation of data-driven solutions for Visa clients.
• Assisting in data preparation analysis and visualization to uncover insights.
• Learning and applying predictive modeling and machine learning techniques under guidance.
• Collaborating with VCA consultants and internal teams to understand business requirements.
• Participating in meetings and discussions to translate client needs into actionable analytics.
• Documenting methodologies and maintaining project records.

This role provides exposure to end-to-end project delivery from gathering requirements to presenting insights that enable data-driven decisions.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist in promoting data science solutions to solve business challenges.
• Support development of predictive models and machine learning applications.
• Analyze VisaNet data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project requirements.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

What were looking for:

• Permanent right to work in Poland.
• Currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Economics Engineering) with expected graduation in 2027. Available for a summer internship starting in June or July 2026.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Strong interest in data analytics and consulting.
• Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages.
• Basic understanding of SQL and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team environment.
