Job Summary
For Linklaters Office in Warsaw we are currently recruiting for the BDM Data Steward role.
About the team:
The Business Development and Marketing (BDM) function is a globally diverse team of specialists dedicated to driving revenue growth nurturing priority client relationships and strengthening the firms reputation. As a data steward for client and company information you will collaborate with BDM stakeholders plus data and technology teams to gather requirements define use cases and maintain the integrity and quality of BDM priority data sets. You will ensure compliance with data policies and regulations while also supporting data integration and sharing. You will be a key part of a collegiate supportive team that alongside our lawyers is committed to developing and executing business development and marketing initiatives aligned with the firms strategic goals. Your key responsibilities:
Processing amendments to company and client information in the CRM system based on requests from users with accompanying evidence.
Managing the research activities needed to validate the accuracy and completeness of company and client data change requests.
Managing correspondence with business users and other stakeholders to obtain clarifications and supporting evidence for data updates ensuring timely resolution of queries.
Carrying out analysis to understand and maintain corporate structures including identifying and reflecting the impact of market changes (such as mergers demergers and acquisitions) on client and company records.
Using external data sources (such as D&B Companies House Orbis or similar) where appropriate to validate company information and support decisions on data quality.
Working closely with Business Development and Marketing Business Acceptance and other Risk teams to ensure that client company and matter data supports know your client anti-money laundering conflict checking and key client programme activities.
Your experience:
- Minimum one year of experience in data management or a similar role.
- Experience with data cleaning documentation maintenance and working with database systems CRM tools or other business data repositories.
- Understanding of data management principles data quality processes and data compliance requirements ideally gained in a professional services environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new data management tools and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing and validating client and company data.
- Educational background in information management business administration or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- Experience with Salesforce and exposure to SAP R3 or SAP ERP would be an advantage.
- Experience using external data sources such as D&B Companies House Orbis or similar to validate company information would be beneficial.

Warsaw (hybrid model with two days per week in the office)
