For Linklaters Office in Warsaw we are currently recruiting for the BDM Data Steward role.
About the team:
The Business Development and Marketing (BDM) function is a globally diverse team of specialists dedicated to driving revenue growth nurturing priority client relationships and strengthening the firms this role you will collaborate with BDM stakeholders and data and technology teams to gather requirements define use cases and maintain the integrity and quality of BDM priority data sets while ensuring compliance with data policies and regulations and supporting data integration and sharing. You will be a key part of a collegiate supportive team that alongside our lawyers is committed to developing and executing business development and marketing initiatives aligned with the firms strategic goals. The role offers a diverse range of projects and significant opportunities for learning and growth within a nurturing forwardthinking environment.
Your key responsibilities:
Coordinate with BDM stakeholders globally to understand their data needs and define use cases effectively.
Maintain the integrity and quality of priority data sets by ensuring compliance with data policies and regulations.
Implement processes to uphold data quality standards and lead regular reviews and updates.
Support data sharing and integration efforts while adhering to policy constraints and preventing data misuse.
Address data quality issues and establish controls reporting progress to relevant parties.
Collaborate closely with teams within data and technology to align BDM initiatives with Linklaters broader data strategies.
Act as an intermediary and delegate with data submissions and forum participation as needed.
Facilitate effective communication and training about data policies and procedures among BDM stakeholders.
Drive remediation activities by providing insights and expertise for effective prioritisation.
Encourage remote collaboration and consistent alignment across BDM and related teams globally.
Your experience:
Experience with data management activities such as data cleaning documentation and maintenance.
Understanding of data management principles and practices ideally in a professional services environment.
Experience with database systems CRM tools or other data repositories used in business settings.
Experience or knowledge of League Tables data management is beneficial.
Familiarity with data quality processes and documentation standards.
Knowledge of data compliance requirements and regulations.
Experience using Microsoft Excel Power BI or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
Attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies in data sets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple data maintenance tasks.
Willingness to learn new data management tools and technologies.
Educational background in information management business administration or related field is beneficial but not required.
