About the role
This position is responsible for the provision of People & Culture (P&C) advice delivery of P&C services to managers and employees across Council the coordination of employee correspondence updating HRMS supporting processes and tasks to assist P&C in delivering operations strategy and projects.
This role will be reporting into the People & Culture Team Leader.
On a daily basis you will:
Collaborate with client groups to address specific issues and engage in their business sharing insights and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Assist with P&C initiatives and projects participate in organisational designs
Enhancing and providing input on HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and the employee experience.
Guiding managers through position structure changes maintaining HRIS records and employee correspondence to ensure accurate employment details and timely updates.
Promote continuous improvement and innovation including maintaining an internal knowledge hub for the P&C team.
Identify and implement continuous improvements in processes & reduce turnaround time in P&C operations.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking to analyse complex situations and offer sound solutions while leveraging strong influencing skills to guide stakeholders toward positive and accurate outcomes.
Additionally the advisor must have a strong customer service mindset and be able to adapt advice to suit varying contexts and situations ensuring recommendations are relevant and industrially sound.

We are offering a full-time permanent opportunity with an attractive remuneration from $104 610.61 plus 12% superannuation.
Please note the successful candidate will be required to work in the office at Parramatta 5 days a week during the 3 month probation period. After which hybrid working can commence with 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
