About this role
As our Business Support Administrator Reception and Client Services you will be the first point of contact for clients whānau and visitors. This role is all about creating a warm professional and supportive environment for clients visitors and staff.
Youll ensure our reception runs smoothly provide outstanding customer service and also support our teams with a range of administrative tasks.
What youll be doing
- Greet clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage incoming calls and enquiries ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Assist clients who may be experiencing stress ensuring they feel supported and respected.
- Oversee front desk operations including reception duties such as meeting room bookings mail and courier handling and office supply management.
- Providing wider general administrative support to teams and managers by collaborating with the wider Business Support team.
About you
Previous experience in mental health social services or similar client-focused environments is an advantage. Experience that demonstrates the ability to act with empathy professionalism and patience.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- NCEA Level 2 or equivalent.
- Ability to remain calm and patient.
- A proactive approach.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
- A friendly respectful and culturally responsive approach.
- Experience working with diverse communities.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Experience preparing documents calendar management and comprehensive administrative support.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants must hold a current full clean drivers license.
You will have a cultural awareness knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
