Whats the opportunity
Frequency is a construction project management consultancy. We partner on complex projects across the built environment and value relationships integrity and delivering real value for our clients. Were scoping a change to our core IT system and need a Senior IT Business Analyst to lead discovery requirements and UAT through to golive readiness. This is a fulltime onsite role for three months starting by April 2026 with the possibility to extend into implementation.
What youll do
Lead discovery and confirm whats in and out of scope for our core system change
Run workshops and interviews agree RASCI and lock in approvals
Capture and prioritise business requirements (Must/Should/NicetoHave) and maintain traceability
Map current and future state processes data flows dependencies and migration prerequisites
Support system review for fitforpurpose; assist with configuration decisions and change control
Drive UAT endtoend: test cases coordination defect triage signoff and golive readiness
Prepare phasetwo requirements and a pragmatic backlog
Update processes manuals and training materials; support training and change adoption
Embed good health safety wellbeing and sustainability practices in how we deliver change
What youll bring
Senior BA experience leading scope and requirements for core platform change (e.g. ERP/PSA/Finance/Project Ops or similar)
Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation across business and technical teams
Clear documentation skills: scope baselines MoSCoW RASCI process mapping traceability
Handson UAT leadership and golive readiness experience
A practical collaborative style that balances pace with risk and quality
Experience in construction engineering infrastructure or professional services is a plus
Current NZ work rights

Extension: Potential to extend into implementation
