Job Summary
Casa Playa is a coastal Mexican restaurant focusing on fresh seafood seasonal ingredients and a housemade masa program. The menu from James Beard nominee Chef Sarah Thompson is designed to be family-style with many interactive large-format dishes that build on each other including the pork belly al pastor and whole snapper tempura accompanied by housemade tortillas. The beverage program includes an extensive tequila and mezcal selection that is elevated and inspired by modern fun bright and innovative techniques and flavors featured in specialty cocktails like the spicy yet cool Obsidian margarita.
As a Casa Playa Host Person your role will include:
- Providing superior guest service that is consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating
- All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company policy and procedur.
- Greeting and seating guests
- Assisting guest with reservation via phone and in person
- Assisting Managers with table management to maximize seating
- Assisting guest with special request
Qualifications :
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner
- 1-year work experience as host person in a high-end restaurant is preferred
- Exhibit phone etiquette organizational skills basic computer knowledge (including reservations management system) and food/wine service knowledge
- Requires the ability to multi-task work efficiently and within a team environment
- Must be available to work all shifts including day swing weekdays weekends and holidays
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required at present or in the future for this position at all times
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
