The Role

Responsibilities include:
- Be a hands-on problem solver and lead from the front in continuously exploring new technology platforms.
- Strategize and implement the technical empowerment of the people through new technology training and enablement Upskill and Cross-Skill on Technologies for the future.
- Collaborate with the sales and delivery team to devise a plan on the teams technical competencies.
- Maintains the organizations effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing technologies.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals strategies practices and user projects.
- Identifies problems and evaluates the current trend
- Ensure adoption of best-in-class quality assurance techniques to deliver very high- quality software solutions.
- Develop employee growth opportunities mentoring/coaching/managing employees.
- Attract and retain diverse and highly skilled engineering talent with optimal utilization maximize outputs.
- Manage and Conduct Continuous Feedback & Appraisal Discussions.
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment.
- Support presales and solutions teams on pursuits to bring in new business.
- Work in a mutually interdependent structure spanning across business technology and other functions helping unblock teams and resolve issues.
- Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations and communications with the teams.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in technically leading the project from requirements analysis design development and operation of distributed fault-tolerant applications with particular attention to security scalability performance availability and cost/revenue optimization.
- At least 3 Yrs. experience with any cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services Azure RedHat Rack space Open stack and Oracle Cloud.
- Knowledge in Project Management tools and Agile Methodologies
- Demonstrates expertise and leadership in working with business units product management development and operations staff to architect innovative solutions that meet the requirements to functionality performance scalability and reliability realistic implementation schedules and adherence to architectural goals and principles.
- Hands-on experience with web development in any of the following languages: Java Net Python Go C# JavaScript (Node Angular)
- Experience with back-end services/micro-services development and relational databases (Postgres MySQL Oracle etc.)
- Expertise in open-source technologies and NoSQL DB technologies such as Couchbase Elasticsearch RabbitMQ MongoDB Cassandra Redis etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification in AWS or Azure is preferred.
