The Compliance Manager owns end-to-end compliance readiness for Electrical and Appliances product categories ensuring all products meet global and local regulatory standards such as BIS QCO WPC CPSIA RoHS REACH FCC and CE. The role translates regulatory requirements into clear product specifications builds compliance frameworks for new categories and identifies risks early in the development cycle to drive timely mitigation. The manager partners closely with Product Sourcing and Quality teams to embed compliance into PRFAQs technical specs and supplier onboarding. This role defines testing protocols coordinates with accredited labs evaluates supplier capability and conducts pre-launch audits to ensure complete accurate documentation and on-time certifications. The manager also drives escalations related to failures or non-conformities leads continuous improvement initiatives builds scalable mechanisms for documentation and certification tracking enhances compliance workflows with tech teams and reports key compliance performance metrics to enable predictable defect-free launches.
Key job responsibilities
-Own compliance readiness for Electrical Appliances product categories
-Interpret global and local regulatory requirements (BIS QCO WPC RoHS CE etc.) and translate them into actionable product requirements.
-Build compliance requirement frameworks for new product categories or expansion programs.
-Identify regulatory risks early in the development cycle and drive mitigation mechanisms with stakeholders.
-Partner with Product Managers Sourcing and Quality teams to embed regulatory requirements into PRFAQs tech specs and supplier onboarding processes.
-Define testing protocols coordinate with accredited labs and ensure test reports and certifications are delivered on time.
-Conduct pre-launch compliance audits and sign off on launch readiness for assigned ASINs.
-Evaluate supplier compliance capability and provide guidance on regulatory expectations.
-Support supplier onboarding and continuous improvement programs related to safety quality and documentation accuracy.
-Manage escalations related to failures non-conformities or documentation gaps.
-Develop scalable mechanisms to automate compliance checks certification tracking and documentation management.
-Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce launch delays related to compliance.
-Track and report compliance performance metrics defects and audit outcomes.
-Work with tech teams to enhance tools templates and compliance workflows.
