Job Summary

DESCRIPTION:

Special Education Aide position for 5.5 hours per day (8:45-2:15). School Nutrition Assistant for 2.5 hours per day (morning shift 6:15-8:45 AM). The workday begins at E.B. Stanley Middle School where the employee will assist with meal preparation and transport to the Washington County Career & Technical Education Center followed by breakfast meal service to students. The special education aide position will start at 8:45 at WCCTEC for 5.5 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Assists the classroom teacher in the management instruction and personal care of students. Performs related tasks as required and directed. Work is performed under the direction and general supervision of the classroom teacher(s). Aide motivates students to develop skills in assigned subject matters.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Effective Date: 2025-2026 School Year

Schedule: Full-Time

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
