WhatYoullDo:
As our nextAsset Specialist - Maintenance Strategy & Support based at our Brisbane head office you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results for our projects.
Ensure that all projects are supported and aligned to the Thiess Planning Process and Maintenance Management System usage. Provide high quality technical support and implement best practice solutions while seeking innovation in technology.
In this role you will:
Develop and continuously improve preventative maintenance strategies and associated documentation by liaising with OEMs and Thiess content experts
Identifyopportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of maintenance through enhanced planning practices andnew technologies
Help develop andmaintainstandardised automated reporting and workflows using Power BI and Power Automate
Contribute to the ongoing digitalisation of maintenance processes
Provide support to planners and maintenance personnel including on-site and off-site training
Ensure the JDE maintenance system is utilised effectively by our sites tomaintaintransparency andaccuratedata records across the business
- Demonstrate safety leadership in your own behaviour and your interactions with others
WhatYoullNeed to Succeed
The ideal candidate will hold a trade qualification or an engineeringdegree orpossess equivalent experience. They will have provenexpertisein mobile plant maintenance operations and maintenance planning for large mining equipment combined withstrong communicationskills and the ability to negotiate with stakeholders to influence outcomes.
Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite
Competent in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. JDE)
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
