Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room
Location: Hyannis MA
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $75 $81 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Roomfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies
Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments
Perform ongoing patient assessments and maintain accurate timely documentation throughout admission and discharge
Develop and communicate individualized plans of care with interdisciplinary teams
Demonstrate proficiency in emergency nursing skills including IV therapy ventilator care and telemetry monitoring
Serve as a charge nurse when assigned and act as a clinical resource for staff education and orientation
Utilize computerized nursing and clinical information systems effectively
Participate in quality improvement initiatives staff meetings and required education programs
Maintain compliance with safety standards infection control policies and confidentiality requirements
Provide exceptional customer service to patients families and healthcare team members
Complete additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
Minimum 1 year of ER travel nursing experience
Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
BLS and ACLS certifications (current and maintained)
Strong skills in IV starts IV medication administration ventilator care and cardiac telemetry
Successful completion of required pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Preferred Qualifications
De-escalation certification
TNCC ENPC and PALS certifications
