RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator Psychoeducational Group Moderator For Endometriosis Patients is responsible of leading and moderating a psychoeducational and support group pilot program aimed for patients living with endometriosis. The person will collaborate with Investigators and health care personnel to assume responsibility for the overall patient management and coordination of the sessions.

General Duties
Elaborates the basis of a support group pilot program that includes a didactic component and a moderated group discussion component
Prepares themes and material for the sessions
Recruits participants prescreens patients and obtains informed consent
Assesses patients for protocol eligibility through personal interviews and/or medical record review in in-patient and out-patient settings
Maintains completes and updates concomitant and adverse event logs and questionnaires and protocol specific source documentation
Schedules sessions presents the didactic component moderates sessions monitors participants attendance and follows-up with issues identified
Conducts patient exit interviews organizes follow-up meetings when indicated refers patients to individual counseling or additional support services as needed
Conducts other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills

Good standing member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ)
Bilingual: French and English spoken and written
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Able to work under minimal supervision
Self-directed flexible organized and sense of ethics

Additional information

Status : Temporary Part-Time approximately 3 hours a week
Pay Scale: $24.40 - $45.29/hour. Commensurate with education & work experience.
Work Shift: Variable Schedule
Work Site: Remote
