IT Client Support Associate / IT Helpdesk

Onsite Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Pay Rate:$25.00 $29.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: MondayFriday with flexible shifts some weekends as needed

  • 3 days per week 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • 2 days per week 10:30 AM 7:00 PM
  • Weekend hours may be required based on business needs

Position Overview

We are seeking an Onsite IT Client Support Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for technical support at a full office location. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting direct user interaction and being the face of IT support for onsite employees.

You will support internal users both onsite and remotely manage a high-volume ticket queue through an internal ticketing system assist with hardware and software issues and play a key role in new hire onboarding and ongoing technology support. This is a contract role with strong potential to convert to full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onsite IT support presence providing professional and customer-focused technical assistance
  • Identify manage escalate and resolve technical issues related to hardware software and networking
  • Install configure and support software printer drivers and utilities on workstations and laptops
  • Troubleshoot desktop laptop printer and basic network connectivity issues
  • Issue laptops replace hardware perform system updates and support onboarding for new hires
  • Maintain and support onsite printers and related peripherals
  • Manage and resolve IT tickets through an internal ticketing and chat-based support system
  • Support users both in person and remotely with daily ticket volumes ranging from low to high depending on business needs
  • Monitor systems identify issues and take corrective action as needed
  • Represent the IT team professionally remaining approachable calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment

Training and Support

  • Comprehensive 34 week onboarding and training program
  • Shadowing and guided support from experienced team members
  • All required equipment provided

Required Qualifications

  • 13 years of IT support or related technical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 13 years of customer service experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience supporting desktop laptop and printer issues
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including occasional weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of hands-on IT support experience
  • Experience with VPN troubleshooting
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience supporting hardware builds laptop assembly and system imaging
  • IT certifications or relevant education preferred but not required
