JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Entomology is seeking applicants for part-time job of lab assistant.
Job duties to include:
- Prepare entomological and botanical specimens using museum standards
- Manage data associate with museum specimens
- Facilitate data analysis for biological research involving plant galls and their associated species
Requirements qualifications and/or competencies:
- BS/BA in Biology with at least a minor in Statistics
- Familiarity with insect collections and specimens
Schedule:
- minimum of 20 hours per week possibly up to 40
- work hours between 9:00am and 5:00pm
- position will likely end between May and August
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $16 per hour.
