Job Purpose: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job |
Maintain and repair all HVAC related mechanical and electrical systems and equipment within the property. Responsible for monitoring and shutting down all related Central Energy Plant equipment. |
Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that does not represent at least 10% of the jobs time. Please include supervisory responsibilities. |
1. | Perform repairs and maintenance to heating and cooling systems including sheet metal insulation and refrigeration equipment within the property. |
2. | Operate powerhouse systems. |
3. | Maintain and repair domestic heating and chill water pumps and controls. |
4. | Maintain and repair steam heat exchanges for domestic water HVAC kitchens and controls. |
5. | Update records associated with refrigerant usage as required by the EPA. |
6. | Inspect and repair HVAC equipment including duct work pneumatic controls electronic controls motors and pumps. |
7. | Maintain and repair exhaust fans in the guest and public space areas. |
8. | Maintain and repair gas fireplaces. |
9. | Ensure cleanliness in the assigned work spaces. |
10. | Comply with OSHA regulations Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions. |
11. | Perform other duties as assigned. |
Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities. |
Education | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
Experience | Minimum of two years experience in HVAC/R related field of trade as a journeyman or equivalent experience. Must be able to read Engineering drawings and technical literature. |
Licenses/Certifications | Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA. Journeyman certification preferred. Valid Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record may be required. Material Handling Equipment certification as required (may vary by property) |
