Arcadis is seeking a self-starting and experienced Project Civil/Environmental Engineer to support an expanding portfolio of projects throughout the United States. As a Project Engineer you will collaborate with scientists engineers project managers and technical experts on various activities in support of civil design and environmental permitting projects for a diverse project portfolio including projects in the energy industrial and transportation sectors associated with site development reclamation and restoration projects. The position will require experience with federal and state environmental permitting.

Role Accountabilities:
Responsibilities will include working with project managers and team members to develop engineering designs for permitting or construction permits. The candidate should have demonstrated experience with the management of civil or environmental engineering projects including land development and associated planning soil and erosion control design and stormwater permitting. The candidate should also be able to analyze documentation including technical reports construction submittals maps drawings tests and aerial photographs to understand site characteristics (e.g. geotechnical properties terrain hydrologic and hydraulic characteristics etc.) to support design development. The candidate will also need to review applicable regulations permitting requirements and standards. Based on interpretation of data and regulatory constraints the candidate will develop civil engineering designs on projects of varying complexity. The candidate will be responsible for producing quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several assignments.
This role will primarily be office based; however as needed you will need to conduct field assignments including participating in face-to-face client technical and other stakeholder meetings. This role will require the ability to travel up to 15%. Additional responsibilities will require the delegation of work and mentorship to junior engineers participating in and facilitating group meetings and effectively working with the project team including local national and global technical and client teams.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $82400 - $123600.
