The Opportunity & Role Profile
This Southwark-based school is recruiting a professional Science Technician to join their technical team. You will be responsible for the behind-the-scenes excellence that allows the Science department to thrive with a specific focus on supporting Physics or Chemistry practicals.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Hazardous Materials: Ensuring the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and the secure storage of radioactive sources (for Physics specialists).
Apparatus Setup: Designing and testing new practical setups to enhance the GCSE and A-Level curriculum.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with the Senior Technician to ensure the smooth daily operation of all laboratories.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Strong scientific education and experience within a Physics or Chemistry classroom setting.
Salary: per annum depending on experience.
