The Role

As an MET Technician you will be a key part of a professional bodyshop team delivering right-first-time repairs to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify record and report additional damage during vehicle strip-down
• Accurately log all parts materials consumables and labour used on each repair
• Minimise waste and ensure correct ordering of replacement parts
• Carry out repairs in line with best practice and manufacturer procedures
• Complete work within estimated repair times while meeting quality and safety standards
• Check and maintain tools equipment and workshop materials
• Seek clarification where job instructions are unclear or appear incorrect
• Support the Bodyshop Manager with additional tasks as required

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair centre
• Relevant NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ qualifications preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• High attention to detail and quality
• A professional team-focused attitude
