About the Role
The Science Technician will provide practical support for teaching staff ensuring that laboratory lessons are safe well-resourced and efficiently prepared. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment preparing experiments and supporting health and safety compliance in all practical activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and setting up equipment and resources for lessons
Maintaining laboratory stock and ordering consumables
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Assisting teaching staff during practical lessons
Supporting departmental administration and record-keeping
Checking and maintaining laboratory apparatus

Previous experience in a laboratory or school science setting desirable
Strong practical skills and knowledge of laboratory safety
