Job Summary
Physical Demands
Frequently: Standing Walking Bending Squatting Kneeling Repetitive hand motion Prolonged use of computer. Occasionally: Lifting a minimum of thirty (30) pounds Climbing.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: College student at NMHU enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours. High school diploma or GED . Experience: None
Preferred Qualifications
There is no prior experience required for this position. Applicants need only to be NMHU students taking a minimum of six credit hours for the semester(s) in which they are applying for the position and possess a demonstrable high proficiency in the target languages of either Spanish or ASL or both. Experience working in a virtual office setting. Knowledgeable and skilled in Microsoft Office BrightSpace ( LMS ) and Zoom. Knowledgeable and skilled in GoReact and TrueWay ASL Pursuing a major/minor in one of the programs of the Languages and Culture Department.
