The Opportunity

This opportunity will have you being a part of a brilliant team of people responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness and orderly duties to all areas of the hospital.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas including wards and operating theatres
• Transporting patients between wards and departments
• Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
• Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
• Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in cleaning services
• Demonstrated experience as Patient Services Assistant / Hospital Orderly
• Enjoy providing a great customer service experience
• Be a team player and love to work within a large team
• Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Be dedicated to the highest standards of safety cleanliness and infection control
• Be available for shifts in the afternoon and weekend

Remuneration:

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $25.62 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
