Job Summary

POSITION: Title Curative Representative

FULLTIME/PARTTIME: Fulltime

LOCATION: Fully Remote

SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 40 hours a week 10am-7pm CST

Contracted: 1/19/2026 to 4/20/2026

PAY RANGE: $25.00 hourly paid weekly

About the Role

We are seeking a Curative Representative / Title Curative Associate with mid-level curative experience to support real property transactions across multiple states. This role is responsible for reviewing title issues conducting detailed research and working with lenders creditors and third parties to resolve title defects so title insurance can be issued.

This is a fully remote role that requires strong attention to detail the ability to manage multiple files and experience navigating curative requirements across all 50 states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review abstract title examinations for:
  • Liens encumbrances and judgments
  • Vesting issues
  • Deed preparation
  • Legal descriptions
  • Analyze and resolve title defects using underwriting guidelines for multi-state transactions
  • Understand and process:
  • Payoffs
  • Real property taxes
  • Voluntary and involuntary lien releases
  • Lien extinguishment requirements
  • Work directly with:
  • Lenders
  • Creditors
  • County offices
  • Third parties
    to clear title conditions and facilitate issuance of title insurance
  • Manage a pipeline of curative files ensuring SLAs are met
  • Communicate updates and resolutions through integration systems task queues and email
  • Collaborate with other title agencies underwriters and county offices as needed
  • Conduct heavy title research to identify and resolve complex curative issues

Preferred Experience

  • Curative experience in Texas (TDI) Florida and Georgia is a plus
  • Experience handling real property transactions nationwide
  • Familiarity with title underwriting guidelines and county recording practices

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
