Job Title: Field Service Engineer Industrial Laundry

Location: Manchester (field-based)
Salary: 36000 basic bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday
On-call: 1 in 4 weekends

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our service team supporting industrial laundry equipment across customer sites in Manchester and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role offering strong earning potential excellent benefits and a healthy worklife balance.

You will be responsible for the installation servicing fault-finding and repair of commercial and industrial laundry machinery working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Service maintain and repair industrial laundry equipment at customer premises
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Install and commission new equipment where required
Provide technical support and advice to customers
Complete service reports and documentation accurately
Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

Skills & Experience

Electrical bias essential with solid mechanical knowledge
Experience as a Field Service Engineer Maintenance Engineer or similar
Backgrounds considered:
- Industrial or commercial laundry
- Commercial equipment
- Residential white goods / domestic appliances
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good customer-facing and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
