genU is looking for Overnight Sleep - Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.

These are overnight sleep rosters of 3 shifts 6 Day shifts @ 52.50hrs per fortnight. Please review the roster included before applying.

Proposed Roster - OSW-mixed Roster - 52.50 hrs -

What youll do

Support person-centred plans that identify a customers life goals and working to achieve them;
Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation housekeeping showering and toileting and medication administration;
Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What youll bring

Certificate III in Disability Individual Support or higher CHC33021 CHC33015 CHC43121 CHC43115
Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
Experience transporting customers in a work van essential;
A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

(Youll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate but dont worry well help guide you through this.)
