Peraton is seeking a talented Cloud Test Engineer to join our mission-driven Cyber Missions team in Annapolis Junction this role youll play a critical part in ensuring the quality reliability and security of cutting-edge cloud solutions that support high-impact missions.

As a Cloud Test Engineer you will lead testing efforts across task-order initiatives working hands-on with applications transitioning toor already operating withinthe AWS cloud environment. Youll collaborate with solution providers and technical teams to validate functionality performance and integration readiness for production.

What Youll Do

• Lead and execute testing efforts for cloud-based applications and infrastructure

• Perform configuration and functional testing for applications deployed in AWS

• Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality solutions

• Validate deployment of code and infrastructure using modern DevOps tools

• Test and support cloud deployments utilizing Terraform Kubernetes and Docker

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration into AWS production environments

This is an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Test Engineer who enjoys problem-solving modern cloud technologies and contributing to mission-critical systems.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer on similar programs or contracts

• Bachelors degree in Math Computer Science Engineering Statistics Engineering Management or related field (or 4 additional years of TE experience in lieu of degree)

• Experience developing and maintaining test plans test cases and automated tests

• Proficient in manual testing and analyzing/interpreting test results

• Ability to identify troubleshoot and resolve automation issues

• Skilled in creating bug tickets and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools or willingness to learn

• Familiarity with software integration and writing automated tests

• Knowledge of web technologies and databases or willingness to learn

• Experience designing and executing automated testing systems

• Ability to replicate errors and analyze test data for system performance and efficiency
